Sushma Koirala Memorial Trust (SKMT) was established in 1993 as a charitable service oriented social organization, which focuses on providing help to those in need so that they can help themselves to face their economic and social hardships and become independant.
Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation Program
Keeping the view of providing a safe and clean drinking water to the people of Tathali, Bhaktapur, Sushma Koirala Memorial Trust (SKMT) in financial support of Latter-Day Saint Charities (LDSC) proposed to carry out a water supply project so that they will get access to safe drinking water.
Integrated Community Development Project
Another important project of SKMT is Heifer International that is funded by HEIFER INTERNATIONAL NEPAL. The first phase of the project is the training part which is completed, the second phase of the project that was supposed to conduct in two VDC of Sunsari districts could not be held on time because of the flood.
